China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation released its IPO prospectus on November 25^th, 2009, said it would issue less than 1.995 billion A-shares, listing in the Shanghai Securities Exchange.

The issue was conducted through a combination of pricing inquiries to inquiry recipients and online funds subscription. According to the schedule, CSIC will conduct its price preliminary inquiry from November 26^th to December 2^nd, and will proceed online subscription on December 7^th.

The a-shares issued this time is less than 30% of the general capital, the funds raised will be mainly used in 22 newly-build, expansion and reconstruction projects of three businesses including marine power and components, marine auxiliary engine, transportation equipments etc., among which 4.31 billion yuan is used in production capacity construction of marine power and components, 1.452 billion in production capacity construction of marine auxiliary engine, and 0.673 billion in production capacity construction of transportation equipments and other businesses.
