On May 5, 2012, Qinghai provincial party and government delegation visited Rongan Power headed by secretary of Qinghai provincial party committee and director of provincial People’S Congress Standing Committee Mr. Qiang Wei, deputy secretary of Qinghai provincial party committee and governor Mr. Luo Huining. Deputy secretary of Anhui provincial party committee and governor Mr. Li Bin, member of standing committee of Anhui provincial party committee and secretary of Hefei municipal party committee Mr. Wu Cunrong and other related Anhui provincial leaders took part in the visit. Vice presidetn Yu Zheng and Xu Wenyou, planning and development director Feng Jianjun and other enterprise leaders warmly received the delegation.   

Vice president Yu made an introduction on company sitiuation to the coming guests, he said, Rongan Power was established in year 2007 and had been listed as one of Anhui “861” projects as well as Hefei “121” major projects. approved by National Development and Reform Committee on March 6, 2009, it is the first and currently the only private enterprise that has been approved by the committee to manufacture marine low speed diesel engines. The company respectively signed the licensing agreements with world top two engine design and manufacturing brand Wartsila and MAN to manufacture low speed engines with cylinder bore range from 350mm to 980mm. with joint efforts of the whole Rongan staff, the company created records of delivering the first engine and making one million actual production capacity breakthrough in the least time in the industry, obtain social recognition and acclaim from all walks of life.

What pulls such an enterprise like Rongan Power to start their business in Hefei，a city neither near to major rivers nor at side of sea? Yu introduced that, for introducing Rongan Power project, Anhui Provincial Government and Hefei Municipal Government made a huge investment exclusively for channel improvement of Paihe River, Chaohu River area, Yu Xi He River, Chaohu Lock and Yuxi Lock, which solved RongAn's products transportation problem and at the meantime realized the strategy of Hefei's reaching major rivers and seas. Thanks to the sound investment environment provided by Anhui provincial as well as Hefei municipal government, we made the impossible possible and finally made our dream come true. On listening to the backstory, all the delegation members expressed their heartfelt praise for great courage the local government showed in seeking opportunity to develop big industry.
