Total price of new-built containers in this year reaches 8.4 billion US Dollar, exceed that in last year of 8.2 billion US Dollar, and increased significantly comparing with 1.1 billion US Dollar in year 2009.

According to Clarkson Research statistics, in the first four months of the year, total price of new-built bulk carriers is 4 billion US Dollar, while 1.1 billion for oil tankers. 

Among 25 containers (78800TEU) ordered in April, 12 containers (20600TEU) are of 1000-1999 TEU level, which set a record after December, 2007 bases on monthly order quantity.
