On September 21, 2012, the second ship equipped with RONGAN-MAN 5S60ME-C of Wuhu Xinlian Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully delivered. It is reported that, the 82,000 tons bulk carrier built for Fujian Ocean Shipping Group Limited was delivered on September 21 in Zhangjiagang.

The 5S60ME-C is a kind of single-action, two-stroke, and crossheaded main engine. Comparing with the traditional main engine of MC/MC-C series controlled by camshaft, a 300bar hydraulic system was employed in the main engine in place of drive sprocket, mechanical speed governor, starting air distributor, mechanical oil gun and etc., in combination with the new designed ME controlling system, so as to realize electronic precise controlling of injection time and opening of exhaust valve.

Under the current circumstance of growing enviromental demand, The 5S60ME-C engine with its advantages of better heat load balancing, lower specific fuel consumption and Nox emissions could become the knock-out product in the market.

It is known that, the bulk carrier is the largest ship of the kind made in Anhui province and  is the sceond one delivered in 2012 by Wuhu Xinlian Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., as the first ship of the same kind was delivered on August 17.
